“I don’t want a Pope who thinks it’s OK for Iran to have a Nuclear Weapon. I don’t want a Pope who thinks it’s terrible that America attacked Venezuela, a Country that was sending massive amounts of Drugs into the United States and, even worse, emptying their prisons, including murderers, drug dealers, and killers, into our Country. And I don’t want a Pope who criticizes the President of the United States …”

Right. But the following are all A-OK:

1. "Israel" can have nukes, "secret" ones, too - AND - not be a signatory to the NNPA. Never mind that Iran has never been proven to be pursuing nukes, even though given the historical context it would be smart of them to do so.

2. Unprovoked economic sieges, "decapitation" strikes, fomenting of local terrorism, and military attacks on countries like Iran and Venezuela

3. Big Pharma flooding the US with the most addictive possible drugs, accountability free, and under direct government supervision. Never mind that Venezuela NEVER sent any quantifiable amount of drugs to the US, including drugs simply transiting their territory. Complete fiction.

4. Venezuela didn't "empty their prisons" nor did they intentionally send waves of migrants and refugees who were fleeing NOT Nicolas Maduro's government, but the intentional economic strife forced onto them by the United States in an effort to immiserate the general population in the hopes they would "rise up" and overthrow their wildly popular elected president/government.

5. Trumpstein really hates when people say mean things about him. I'm sure it's a lot worse when it's someone in a position of power or respect like...the Pope.

Basically Trumpstein and his entire Epstein Class regime live in a bubble of 180 degree inverted reality, to the point that even parody falls flat because it is impossible to sufficiently exaggerate the positions they actually take such that it would still be humorous. All that is left is sadness for the fact that everyone seems powerless or unwilling to do anything about it.

But I do like the Iranian Lego videos and their hilarious ability to troll this collection of.....trolls.

Trump says : "I don't want this, I don't want that". I don't think he quite realizes his wants carry no weight whatsoever with most people. I don't give a flying fig about what the Felon, insurrectionist, pedophile, murderer, kidnapper, thief, pirate and warmonger wants.

This is our country, and what WE The People want is what counts.

He can only rule with the consent of the Governed, and he doesn't have it.

I suspect that the complaint at the bottom of Trump's list actually is the most important (to him!)

"And I don’t want a Pope who criticizes the President of the United States>"

What could Catholic priests possibly be blackmailed with?

Lori's avatar

What??? They’re priests!!!! What kind of sick mind do you have?!!

Cécile Stelzer-Johnson's avatar

What could Trump possibly be blackmailed with? That he won in 2016 only thanks to Putin's help? The golden showers?

No truth to those accusations: they were just cooked up from whole cloth by the Dems (the Russiagate nonsense). But there are, of course, many, many other things he could be blackmailed for.

Bob Mueller proved his case but:

Key reasons why Trump was not removed include:

No Finding of Criminal Conspiracy: The investigation led by Robert Mueller found that while Russia interfered in the 2016 election to benefit the Trump campaign, it did not establish that members of the campaign criminally conspired or coordinated with the Russian government, (in spite of the meeting at the Trump tower).

Obstruction Findings Were Not Conclusive: The Mueller report did not exonerate the president on obstruction of justice, outlining ten episodes of potential obstruction. However, the report did not make a traditional prosecutorial judgment, instead leaving it to Congress, stating that they could not indict a sitting president.

DOJ Stance on Sitting Presidents: Mueller cited a Department of Justice (DOJ) legal opinion that prohibits the criminal indictment of a sitting president, meaning criminal charges could only be brought through congressional impeachment, (which they refused to do because of partisanship).

Political Shielding by AG Barr: Attorney General William Barr and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein reviewed the report and concluded that the evidence was not sufficient to establish that Trump committed an obstruction-of-justice offense. So there was evidence, but these 2 partisan hacks decided it wasn't "sufficient".

Republican Senate Majority: Following his first impeachment by the House in December 2019 (over issues related to Ukraine, not Russia, though stemming from the context of these investigations), the Republican-controlled Senate held a trial that saw no new witnesses or documents, resulting in acquittal.

Ineffective Obstruction: The report suggested that many of Trump’s efforts to obstruct the investigation failed because his subordinates refused to carry out his orders, which meant that "undue influence" did not fully succeed, limiting the evidence of a fully consummated crime.

While the investigations produced 37 indictments, seven guilty pleas, and convictions of several key Trump associates for lying to investigators or other charges, none were found to have criminally conspired with Russia regarding the 2016 election.

Also, Robert Mueller was prevented from "following the money".

So no. It wasn't "cooked up from whole cloth" by the Dems, Bob, but nice try.

Ha. For 100's of years: raping and pillaging.

wrknight's avatar

That's hardly newsworthy. The U.S. spies on everyone, citizens included.

JennyStokes's avatar

IF anyone does not know this: The Vatican holds more money in the world than even China.

The Catholic Church is as corrupt as the EU and the USA/Israhell.

They could have stopped 'world hunger' years ago BUT they have constantly done nothing..........they rape and torture as much as Israhell.

How many times have we seen the Catholic Church excuse Priests and Bishops from raping children.

This Church is just another useless entity.

IF they are being 'spied on' good luck. I hope they are bombed.

I would think that a full cost/benefit analysis of our spying would in order, not only foreign but domestic as well. Everyone thinks that it’s critically important, because those who run have a stake in our national security apparatus tell us it is.

Didn’t Trump say that Leo was terrible ON foreign policy. The words “for” and “on” connote very different meanings.

Double checked and he did say “for”
