But the insight, the candor, the well-that-actually-does-make-sense-come-to-think-of-it realization has always stuck with me as to whom we're ultimately dealing with, or more accurately at considerable risk from: "Dr. Strangelove was a documentary."
To see minds stewing in hatred of free expression, taking it as a personal threat - it is a threat to their grasping natures. We have let the universal mental illness of our species rise to the top in our institutions like rancid cream: material greed and the ugly drive necessary to fulfill it.
Max Blumenthal of The Grayzone has been an influential critic of neoliberalism, Zionism, and U.S. wear-mongering in general for decades. He was just detained at Dulles airport on his return from a reporting trip to Iran and his recording devices seized.
Meanwhile in Spain, Fergie Cox, scion of the powerful Cox media empire, was jailed for funding so-called "terrorists," i.e, people like Max, who expose the truth about U.S. foreign policy.
The French proverb: "Qui veut tuer son chien l'accuse de la rage" comes to mind;
(Whoever wants to kill his dog will say it has rabies).
But more people are "woke" today, and we see his hatred, his pettiness, his shenanigans.
And like the dog who cried wolf, folks just don't believe him anymore. This dog won't hunt.

There is a very quiet, stubborn anger that can no longer be repressed.
When you think that folks have gone silent and have lost interest, realize that this is what happens when you have made up your mind to resist and fight back. Before making up our mind, we panic, we scream, we yell. Once your mind is made up, there's a calm that comes over your soul: You know you will not be moved, no matter what. MAGAS should be very worried...
I went to my umpteen protest last Saturday. We quietly stood with our signs, defiant, singing: "We shall not be moved". I love the song because it is so resolute and final.
It is very odd that actual threats to the American people have come from the right, yet we are to fear the "radical left" the very existence of which is hard to detect. ICE is a product of the right, the Supreme Court decision Citizens United is from the right, the court itself is skewed to the right and has given Trump complete immunity for anything he does in office. Voter suppression? From the right. Promoting religion in public schools? From the right. Relaxation of all regulations but in particular those restraining business or protecting the environment is from the right. Reduction of income taxes and the inheritance tax for the benefit of the very rich? From the right. The elimination of Glass-Steagall? From the right. And now the ultimate absurdity - MAMDANI IS A COMMUNIST!
It’s so strange to me, as a trans person, that the right didn’t make a whole thing of Robinson’s partner. I suspect they found that generalizing Robinson to “the left” creates a wider boogeyman net?
But, then, Obama would have had to been a different person, and that kind of person doesn't get elected in the Uniparty system we currently are living in, or under.

In Kenosha Wisc., a 17-year old named Kyle Rittenhouse murdered two protesters in cold blood. He got a fair trial - more than fair in my view - and Rittenhouse was acquitted. He got off scot free.
A few months later, some protester killed a fash in cold blood at a protest near Portland Ore. Local state, and federal police put together a death squad, hunted the guy down and killed him.
The second example is from Weimar Germany.
In 1919, a group of left-wing Social Democrats staged a massive protest in Berlin. Rosa Luxemburg and a guy named Karl Liebknecht, the leaders of the protest were arrested and murdered on-site.
In 1923, Adolph Hitler led a declared attempt to take over Munich and Bavaria. He was arrested and sentenced to two years.
From a radical left scum, I say bring it. I don't think this regime understands just truly how angry the people are.
