"There’s no reason to believe foreign influence has or ever will alter the outcome of an election," I'm not sure I believe this, given that AIPAC has influenced the outcome of multiple elections. One would have to believe that they are either lying about their impact, and I'd call Paul FIndley, Jamal Bowman, and Cori Bush, as witnesses to testify that this is exactly what happened, or you'd have to believe that Israel doesn't have the first and final say about who and what AIPAC supports. Or, I guess you could claim Israel isn't actually a foreign country, which, perhaps, has the most going for it.

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black, the US interferes in more elections than any other government on the planet, and if the US preferred candidate loses the CIA will stage a coup to “correct” that. Iran, Chile, and Ukraine are but a few examples that come to mind. As a few others have noted, it’s AIPAC and Israel that are the real influencers of our elections.

Brilliant, Ken. It came as no surprise that the MSM blew this out of proportion.

Thanks, Susan! Yeah Russia clearly does these things but the response is so over-the-top

On opening night of the NFL it’s important to remember that the DC football team once called their offensive linemen “The Hogs.” DC has a storied history of Hogs. From Taft to Trump to that hammer in Hunter’s pants. Influence this, Russia! #Murica

This is just so completely insane when you consider FusionOps, the 50-signee laptop letter, Trump's 34 felony counts, lawfare to keep RFK Jr and Jill Stein off ballots, Kamala's "flash primary" (or whatever that was) and every other thing the Democrats have been doing, no doubt spending WAY more money and having WAY more influence on elections.

Thank you for being another sane voice on this. How will the IC ever NOT need money if they need to police every stupid troll account on X? One of the people sharing these had 7 followers! 7. I'm nobody. At all. I have quite a few more than that. They tell the public this stuff and then tell them not to question outcomes. One or the other, right?

Washington wouldn’t know restraint if it tried to influence an election!

I'd say "even Israel" is a bit of an understatement. LOL - Israel and Ukraine were the main foreign "influence" operations in the 2016 and 2020 elections.

Great article Ken!

“Preemptive” actions are destroying our country. It provides unelected bureaucrats to act and perform as Dictators. “Proactive” is conducting yourself in a manner to prevent or increase your chances regarding something you know will take place... such as: taking supplements, cramming for an exam, changing your car’s oil.

“Preemptive” is setting up conditions, in your favor, that you think could take place.

Preemptive approach to defense becomes offense. NATO says they are defense and not offense but when NATO preemptively puts bases closer and closer to their target... an “unprovoked war” is bound to break out.

This is exactly what this Administration is setting up by claiming Russia is meddling with our elections... they are preemptively setting the stage for actions by our government without any restrictions because our “election integrity is violated.”

SOLUTION: go back to paper ballots.

This is ridiculous. The MSM isn't blowing this one out of proportion, the USG is. Remember, you're talking about a leader who has clearly stated that in America, parties come and go but the policies stay the same.

“RT employees exploited our free and open press”? Merrick wants to clampdown on all of social media and Russia is a convenient foil. It’s kept him so busy he hasn’t locked up the indicted serial rapist.
