Yesterday in my resignation announcement, I made reference to an article I’d written for The Intercept about Jeff Bezos and The Intercept’s attempt to kill the story — not for any legal reason but to avoid comparisons to their own billionaire benefactor.
Fantastic work. I just subscribed fir the year! 25 year DC person here as a Fmr Washington lobbyist and democrat. Yuk. Bezos DC mansion is two miles up the hill from the White House in Kalorama by Obama and HRC residences. I onced lived in Kalorama with Obama’s fixer, Messina. You are over target so please Keep delivering the hits like Sugar Ray Leonard.
Not edgy the way you mean, but it is the kind of journalism I supported The Intercept for. I started donating to The Intercept the day they asked (2014?) and cancelled it this week after reading your report. (They haven't responded to my cancellation request.) Also, if the claim is that Omidyar might be offended, why patronize him? I'm sure he's perfectly capable of speaking for himself.
Good article... it along with your letter persuaded me to subscribe. This line that you wrote got my attention "...the societal needs like inequality and climate change...". In case you don't already know, we have been gas lit with the idea that CO2 emissions will cause catastrophic climate change. It is a lie. The green agenda is a giant boondoggle for politicians, the rich, and the connected at the expense of the world's poor and the rest of us. It wasn't edgy!!
Or was it?
Definitely edgy in the best possible way!
Not edgy at all. The cowardice of it all. The coddling of billionaire’s feelings. What is life right now?
Reporting the truth is not edgy, ever.

Wow got any Messina stories?

Quite tame. Especially from you. Tf.
Lol I’m still trying to find the edgy
The new "civil "champions of freedom! Don't you love it!

It was plenty edgy for me. I also learned how things work in a more straightforward way than I knew.
Innocuous. Man the Intercept has really fallen from Grace. Great piece, Ken.
I didn't think it was edgy - but I didn't read it.
