As a person who also moved back to Wisconsin after living away for three decades, two of which were in the UK, I understand the difficulties in earning a living in the heartland.

I’m so proud of you for taking the chance, reversing the “brain drain” to the coasts and, of course, your great journalism.

I’ve become a paid subscriber and wish you so much luck in the future.

Any chance we can get a mirror of @klipnewsorg on one of the not-Twitters?

We plan to mirror the feed on a static website, but you have to be logged in to Twitter to see it. Are there any other ways to mirror it?

I gave the feed mirror a shot, but failed. For reasons I won't get into, I'm not able to deploy it to my server.

There's a chance I may figure it out, but it probably won't be soon. I'll drop a comment if I happen to accomplish something.

Oof- the whole goal is to not contribute to Musk's numbers. I'm sure you understand.

I'm looking at some tools; I see one tool that looks promising. I'll see if I can create a mirror myself and report back.

(Longer-term, it seems like there are a few apps/services that allow simul-posting to multiple services. But I am not a content publisher, so I have no first-hand experience at this time.)

You’re doing a great job, much appreciated! You navigate it with a personal touch that is nice. Madison, WI is a pretty cool place, we had an apartment there for a while for Mr. B’s work 😊.

I immediately became a subscriber following your departure from your former employer. A bold move indeed, however, now more than ever we need independent journalists cutting through the bullshit of mainstream media and government blatherskite. Your chat feeds are fun and your stories revealing and credible. Appreciate your excellent work.

Glad it's working out for you. I think having Mr. Arkin as an editor is key, vs just a one man shop.

Through his books! Took an ethics class which me to Secret America, which led me to History in one Act and his book on drones. Been a follower of his articles since.

History in One Act is brilliant. Haven't read "Unmanned" yet but need to. He's such a treasure.

Great sub and good value but often feels like you hold back on Israel eg “war in Gaza” euphemism. Would love your take on the Israel Lobby

Quality subscription. I like your stories and angles on them--you set yourself apart. I appreciate your experiments on notes and chat, especially the live "viewings." You're doing your best to see what works to keep people engaged. Keep up the good work.
