Yes, let's hope the wars and inflation and obtuse entitlement of the "haves" may result in a tipping point, a stepping stone, to a new politics. One with an ingredient of actual decency.
Ideally, instead of watching parties moving left... or right .... depending on whomever's agenda the electeds are being paid to adhere to ... We the people will respond to whatever crisis is arising and vote accordingly. No agendas. Just spontaneous response to conditions.

One thing the Democratic Socialists do is something the DP and GOP have done little of for a very long time and that is going door to door to get an otherwise submissive and resigned people to believe there is a chance for them to have a voice in government. We saw with Hillary's takedown of Bernie the power of the DP establishment making it clear that change must come from the bottom up as an unstoppable force at the polls.
For a candidate to actually say that the 1% need to be heavily taxed, for a candidate to say no to Israel and then to be elected and not by a tiny margin marks a welcome change. Let us make it a tsunami across the nation.
