Thanks for getting this out, Ken. I can’t see any part of what he’s writing where I’m disagreeing. Compared to what we are seeing from the media in places like MSNBC, or Pod Jon Lovett, where at every point of their arguments on this topic I find them absolutely full of shit. Looking forward to an honest and open public debate on single payer healthcare in the US.
Pretty cobbled together and short for a "manifesto." Too convenient, even.
Would not surprise me if this guy woke up on a bench in Altoona, PA yesterday morning with a duffel bag full of fake IDs, cash and a gun and wandered into McDonald's in a daze. Purchased an Egg McMuffin and some coffee and sat down to piece together his life the past month or two after plugging in his laptop and connecting to WiFi. His family and friends report he'd dropped completely off the face of the Earth just after his back surgery.
Highly suspicious behavior, I tell you. Then an informant was in place to call him in, reportedly for looking like the CEO Assassin ("the Adjuster" is parlance I've seen). Police showed up nice and calmly to ask the young man they suspected of being armed and dangerous a few questions and he reacted with surprise when they asked him if he'd been in NYC. After he was arrested, he's caught on media video yelling bizarrely about "intelligence" as he's shoved into the courthouse. MK Ultra is what I'm saying.
LOL, I read the interviews and watched the videos of the eyewitness accounts of the encounter. What on God's green Earth would a "ride-along" have to do with anything?
Then you would know that the cops approached him just as they should, cool and calm. Ask specific questions, observe the person of interest's behavior. Everything you call out as the shooter/shooting & arrest as being too bizarre and therefore a probable/possible government-type 'hit'.
Now that several days have passed, I maintain my original statement. On the cops' part, they played cautiously curious, just as they have on the many ride-alongs I've partook.
Thanks for publishing the truth, Ken. We are a nation hungering for honesty & truth. So simple, yet seemingly near impossible. Thanks for being that source.
The anger that drives this act, sure, but what's killing one vermin really going to do? Especially when that vampire is linked (indirectly) to the state, the state our bourgeois hero lauds, that props up the system that allowed, if not encouraged, him to get fat and happy battening onto the veins of the sick and injured.
Kind of depends on the vermin. As with virtually all examples of terrorism, it's not really about the individual crime as it is about that crimes ability to coerce or intimidate the public or the government. Luigi didn't (allegedly)kill Brian Thompson to stop Brian Thompson from doing something specific. The point was to coerce the government and/or intimidate the public to effect an outcome.
"that crimes ability to coerce or intimidate the public or the government" This definition of terrorism is so broad and all-encompassing that, literally, any act that causes individuals and/or governments to respond to it, especially ways that cause an official, government reaction, fits the definition. Feeding pigeons can be termed an act of terrorism if either the government on its own or at the behest of individuals makes an official ruling on it. (Which is, I suspect, the point: one more club for the pigs to use on their own or at someone important's request.)
Ken, see if you can get your hands on the contents of his "To Do" list in the spiral notebook they referred to. AFAIK he didn't allude to any further CEO assassinations in it (an assumption on my part) but we know he didn't say anything about that in the "manifesto" - so after taking all those precautions to slip into NYC, kill the CEO, then slip out of the city (with the one messup showing his face at the hostel) why did this guy suddenly become so flippant and/or sloppy?
The way I see it is that he either a) WANTED to get caught or b) DID NOT WANT to be caught. If (a) then why would he "start shaking" and get nervous when the cops asked him about whether he'd been in NYC recently? What was his plan moving forward? If (b) why was he still in possession of all this contraband and hadn't taken any steps to disguise his looks or get far, far away from that part of the country or to blend back in with his friends and family?
A smart guy, very arrogant. He is probably expecting huge public support, that won't happen. He wanted everyone to know that he had committed the crime, why else include language on shell casings, kill where you know a camera is recording everything, hold onto the gun, suppressor, leave Monopoly money in a backpack, and show his face at a counter with a camera?
There is a case to be made that the US healthcare industry is shoddy, corrupt and hurts people. Murdering an insurance CEO isn't the way to make your point. No single act will affect public opinion. Better way might have been to document the many who suffer physically, mentally and emotionally because their claims are denied, they get addicted to painkillers, lose jobs, families and homes. Getting those stories told gathers support; with support, change is possible. Now, he is a loser who will spend 30 years in prison, he will be a tiny shred of memory and no one will know or care why he did it.
As for getting the shakes when confronted with a question about NYC, that's a purely human response that probably no one could contain. 7 days after committing a cold-blooded murder that would have caused most of us to double over and vomit, he has been on every newscast-and knows it, has been on the run alone, couldn't communicate anything to anyone, and knows that his time on the lam is limited. A very high wire act for 7 days, his nerves were shredded, as anyone's would be, I'll bet. All anyone had to say was "New York City" and he was ready to dissolve.
I know this because I watch the news, 3,000+ miles from NYC.
People have been documenting this for years now, and nothing has changed. We've been documenting it since before the ACA, we know what the ACA does, and there are still politicians threatening to destroy it with nothing better, or even decent, in place.
You're assuming that everything about this case is as, as-stated in the media. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the kid woke up not knowing his own name with a bag full of contraband and cash then walked into McDonalds as soon as he could. I'm not going full "Bourne Identity" yet, but I never take the "official" narrative at face value in the beginning.
Shakes when confronted with police because you're an expert amateur psychologist like the thousands of people including the Italian prosecutor who saw Satan behind every crime when he indicted Amanda Knox. Too many others to count. "Ready to dissolve" LMAO. OK. Read up on Sirhan Sirhan for a bit.
"Now, he is a loser who will spend 30 years in prison, he will be a tiny shred of memory and no one will know or care why he did it." blah blah blah...yeah probably true, just like Aaron Bushnell. Do you know who that is? If not, why? Because your corporate media - the same ones who will take the side of the insurance companies and venture capital owned hospitals and practices that will minimize or memory-hole this act - also don't want you to know that American Airmen are self-immolating in protest of the Zionist owned US government-supported genocide in Gaza.
"There is a case to be made..." "cold blooded murder" blah blah blah - The case has been made, and tell that to my grandparents who were murdered in cold blood by the hospital conglomerates and the insurance firms.
Thank you for publishing this Ken. You are right to call out the media for not releasing it. Doing so highlights the contrast between independent, subscriber supported journalism and corporate media.
My armchair dumbass take is that he was probably working for the CIA in some capacity and just went off the rails. Or they had him do it to cover up for Pelosi’s involvement in whatever stock selling nonsense UHC was about to get dragged into court for, and threw him under the bus because it was such a big story, they needed a fall guy.
I have extra Reynold’s Wrap if you want to make some hats with me.
Thank you. And shame on all the outlets that would not publish this.
Thanks for publishing Ken
May a thousand Luigis bloom.

Your sources/resources continue to amaze. Thanks for bringing the accurate information.
His complete manifesto certainly anppears to meet the mainstream media’s requirement for concision.
Pretty cobbled together and short for a "manifesto." Too convenient, even.

AppleCrapple. You should delete your comment because it's simply slander.
Applecrapple is a great new comment.
Slander against whom? The CIA?
I'm seriously asking. Who are you accusing me of slandering?
Apparently you've never even gone on a ride-along.
LOL, I read the interviews and watched the videos of the eyewitness accounts of the encounter. What on God's green Earth would a "ride-along" have to do with anything?

"To the Feds, I'll keep this short, because I do respect what you do for our country."
Bourgeois terrorism: safely siloed and blinkered.
But justified.

It makes perfect sense, unlike the senile ramblings ,obfuscation and BS coming out of the government today
Goddammit Kenny, this is why you are the goatiest goat
An American Sickness mentioned !!!
An American CEO,crossed the line.

Here is the video of him shouting bizarre stuff at the courthouse: https://www.the-sun.com/news/13066515/luigi-mangione-court-extradition-hearing-unitedhealthcare-ceo-murder/ Very Oswald-esque, IMHO.

Public support IS HAPPENING.

Does not exist. No more than this guy being a shooter. BS.
Yeah, I'm calling BS on a lot of this story too.
I can fix him
What’s there to fix?
Thank you for publishing this Ken. You are right to call out the media for not releasing it. Doing so highlights the contrast between independent, subscriber supported journalism and corporate media.
Ken, you rock!
I think this guy is a patsy. That manifesto reads like a spook wrote it
Possible, but why would he do it?
My armchair dumbass take is that he was probably working for the CIA in some capacity and just went off the rails.
