More than being remembered as a Trump loyalist, he’ll be remembered as a soulless, evil, warmonger and an all-around awful human being.

Isn't DVT (deep vein thrombosis) turning into a pulmonary embolism the more likely cause of death? Not that Keystone Ka$h and Loomer can think logically. I can't believe more time, money, and resources are being used for something that can be solved with a basic autopsy. No wait, I can believe THIS White House is THIS stupid.

We don't know of anyone he raped, and he talked to reporters when asked.

The bar is in hell.

These days avoiding major scandals, not being associated with pedophiles, avoiding sex crimes, and not having a member of staff immolate themselves is like a badge of honor.

🤣 Ain’t that the truth!!!

"Oh, and unlike so many of his male colleagues, no woman has ever accused Graham of sexual misconduct."

Lol!

I actually have zero respect for Graham because he folded to Maga. Had he kept being the war hawk he was he would ironically have my respect.

I think my joke was too subtle lol

Do we actually know that Mitch McConnell has outlived him?

Man, what were the odds we'd lose two Senator Grahams in one week.

Well done, Ken. Balanced and professional, as always.

For a discussion of the issues that may have likely contributed to Graham’s demise, the following is one of the better analyses:

Cast suspicions on Graham's death but let's not dig deeper on JFK's honest to goodness assassination.

Netanyahu reportedly played to Trump's fear of assassination by Iran to get him to take the plunge into war. Don't forget that the claimed attempt to assassinate Bush senior by Saddam was involved in the desire to take Saddam out.

As for the possibility of Iran planning an assassination, wouldn't it make more sense for it to be directed at the country that has repeatedly assassinated Iranians in Iran, Israel?

I can believe Trump is terrified of his own mortality the way he is in a frenzy to put his name on everything and his love of gold, the element that never tarnishes and is as immortal as anything can be.

My great hope is that when Trump is gone all that vulgar gold fru-fru that he has loaded on the walls of the White House will be removed. I can't imagine any successor that would not be embarrassed by it.

No way "Israel" would take out their best bud Lindsey Graham, but I did see a story in addition to your list about Bill Clinton also being warned about crossing "Israel" and we do know that it was the "Israelis" who had a bug on the White House private phone line and were likely who broke, or threatened to break, the Lewinski story that Linda Tripp ultimately is known to have made public.

Zionism is fanaticism that I face every day on the street demonstrating. I get the purest hatred directed my way for my sign that says "Support of Israel is America's Shame. End it!" and this coming from fellow Americans who have no use for our Pledge of Allegiance. The fact that American Zionists (and I do not mean Jews as such but supporters of Israel) are present throughout our government both federal and state and the wealth of such as Larry Ellison, Haim Saban, Miriam Adelson, etc. is able to buy anything, even CBS and soon CNN. We have got to break the grip and I am pleased to say it is weakening. Yesterday I saw my first "Free Palestine" bumper sticker and was given one by the vehicle owner. Stickers can be found at https://ifamericansknew.org/about_us/stickers.html and Tees are available too.

Hmmm let's see. Not a rapist and talked to reporters. Had one common sense idea about supporting Ukraine. What a guy.

It would be interesting if we could plot the death chart of 30s, 40s congresspeople versus these elderly "states people".

Common sense says we intentionally provoked the SMO. Do your homework, people! Read the 2019;Rand Corp. Report. Listen to wise scholars like Jeffrey Sachs and John Mearscheimer. Please! And THEN let's have a honest discussion about U.S. foreign policy, which is remarkably consistent. If another country has natural wealth, especially an abundance of oil, we are entitled to take it by whatever means we deem appropriate, whether sanctions or regime change or war.

Iran does not assasinate leaders of countries they don’t like. That’s what the US and Israel do.

Assuming that is assanine.

Woke this morning to news of his passing, first reaction was surprise, so sudden, only 71, then first-and-a-half reaction, damn it, the s.o.b. got away with it, as with my desire for McConnell, I wanted him to experience a prolonged, agonizing, debasing exit, fitting for his legacy. I’ve been itching to post this on some appropriate site, my wait paid off here. As to both McConnell and Graham, select which, or combination thereof from those below, you think fit best:

“Did more than his fair share of damage to the nation.”

“The evil that men do lives after them.” [Shakespeare of course.]

“As ye sow so shall ye reek.”

As to “threats to national security,” none of those morons who are obsessively anal-retentive over it realize that the threats to this country are all internal, as manufactured – although subliminally – as the ones they flaunt. Just two items to illustrate that:

1. This country spends twice as much on health care as comparable OECD countries, yet consistently ranks at the bottom in key health indicators, and significantly so. Oh, by the way despite Obamacare, 26 million in this country still with no health insurance.

2. In order to fund (but only partly) the obscene $1+ trillion per year(!) in so-called “defense” spending – uh, make that wasting – in Trump’s and the Republicans’ “One Big Beautiful (Budget Busting) Bill Act, there was also the provision to cut Medicaid coverage by $900 billion over ten years.

I figure ya really gotta be determined to bring about such a state of affairs, crap like this doesn’t happen by accident. And yeah, I figure one way or another both McConnell and Graham had a hand in this. See why I’m pissed off at the latter, and hope for justice to come around for the former?

To me, he was more of a weather vane. He could be for or against Trump any day.

During Trump's impeachment, when he had to vote, he stated: "I will not be an impartial juror". Which, in any other Court besides John Roberts', officiating the vote, would have earned him to be dismissed as a juror.

I'd like to know the nature of his "short illness" that put him in cardiac arrest.

As far as accusing someone, we should not until we are sure there was foul play. He could very well have died of a heart attack.

Could the Iranians have done him in? I suppose.

After all, didn't we assassinate one of their leader, Suleimani, and we decapitated their government by assassinating Ali Khamenei, their Supreme leader and head of their Government as well as members of his close family? Didn't Trump tear the agreement and start a war that killed thousands of Iranians?

A fair tit for tat would be if they had killed Trump and his family. Not that I'd wish for that because we would then get JD Vance, which would be from the frying pan into the fire, as Vance is worse, and more intelligent

Some thoughts here. Russia has a long history of political assassinations going back to the Czarist era. Graham was in Ukraine the night before he died visiting Zelensky. Graham was an ardent Ukraine supporter. So am I. As far as I am concerned, this is Graham’s only credit. Graham was an opportunistic ass-kissing flip flopper who cared about retaining his power over everything else. Russia no doubt has spies in Kyiv. So, I break with Ken on this one. It IS possible. However, if it is ever proven true that Russia had a hand in murdering Graham, Putin will absolutely rue the day. I do not think Putin would be stupid enough to do this, but I have been wrong before. Yes, there should be age limits for EVERYONE in elected office. This includes the POTUS, the VPOTUS, the SCOTUS, and both houses of Congress. Make the limit 70 years old, with mandatory retirement upon reaching that age, even during a term in office. That would make the effective retirement age 66. I am 71 years old, so I can shoot my mouth off in newsletters like this without any fear of future political backlash.

I just reread my own posting. I do this usually to check for grammatical inaccuracies and spelling errors. YIKES! It just HIT ME. I am the same age of 71 as Graham. Now, I REALLY BELIEVE that I can shoot my mouth off in newsletters like this without any fear of future political backlash.
