These Gestapo thugs really get off on smashing car windows, have seen a lot of those videos. She Wolf of the SS Kristi Noem should be tried for war crimes, since she is at war with Americans, and disband her ICE army.

The constant use of the ICE propaganda narrative phrase “weaponizing their vehicles” says it all. trump has created a violent militia & I frequently worry about where the militia will go once they’re ever told to stand down. Militias don’t disappear & members don’t just go home to become peaceful people; that’s not what I’ve ever seen (PTSD notwithstanding). ICE had better start putting away a considerable sum of their money to pay out lawsuits in the next few years. All the broken windows, doors, rammed vehicles & so many deliberate injuries—blinding by “non-lethal” weapons, families teargassed, shootings, etc. & all the deaths are going to add up.

I’ve never seen more windows smashed and “vehicle extractions” in my life. In my 28 year policing career — eleven of those years spent on the street, in an urban city — I never smashed one window on a vehicle.

And every single person I ever physically removed from a vehicle was a legit criminal who had just committed a serious crime — not some mom dropping her kid off at school.

These psychos just smash windows and drag people out for fun.

Oh wow didn’t know you were a police officer. Curious to hear your perspective on all this!

I’ve been retired a few years, now. Retired as a Det. Sergeant in our Internal Affairs unit. Mid size agency (450 officers) in NJ.

I’m disgusted by what I’ve been seeing with ICE. Complete lack of training, lack of adherence to the 4th amendment, search and seizure laws, and now just sheer brutality and cruelty.

I wrote a piece here on my Substack on ICE, from the perspective of a former police officer and internal affairs investigator. Funny thing is, at this point, it feels a bit outdated already from where we are at now.

Feel free to DM me, Ken, if you ever want to talk in detail.

DHS has “its own belligerent definition” of most things. Good work, per usual. We appreciate you endlessly.

thank you kels!

De-escalation would not be as much fun, I'm guessing, for the folks likely to sign up for the ICE job. Democracy Now said the information from the Minneapolis police suggests there was even fourth gunshot wound. I haven't seen any follow up on that nor the 'internal bleeding' claim.

outstanding reporting Ken, thanks

Like most things in compliance realm, it's there to provide cover for leadership and be ignored by rank and file.

I’ll believe a vehicle is a weapon when it is accorded the privileges of the 2nd amendment including but not limited to the illegalization of registries and the removal of licenses or at least their replacement with shall issue permits.

I’m waiting…

Our so-called Homeland Security of our so-called democracy is demonstrably out of control and explosively pitted against rightful citizens. It is violently provoking violent response. MLK and Gandhi were very wise in promoting peaceful resistance; they represented the course of justice and reason. But the impulse to fight back runs deep; it sparked the American Revolution. NO KINGS SINCE 1776.

I'm not religious but I'm really beginning to like the idea of hell in respect to these thugs and their enablers. Thanks for your reporting.

I was under the impression ICE is about immigration concerns?

This a white woman?

Did ICE have info on her?

This is going to boomerang back against Trump.....just a guess. This 'militia' is not going away.

This is an unintentional hilarious read when you consider other reporting that recruits have literacy issues.

Who's reading the memos?

Ken, your reporting on this topic has been exemplary. I find myself agreeing with no one 100%. I don't think abolishing ICE is a good demand or a good idea, but I am appalled at the behavior of this government agency. And as you've been pointing out, escalation and confrontation seems to be the point of the National Security Memorandums/executive orders that have been put forth, and on which the media and most politicians have been silent.

As always, thanks for the added color and the sharing of these internal documents, Ken. This really helps paint a more vibrant canvas of what’s on various parties’ minds. While I remain of the opinion that however questionable the officer’s judgment was, Ms. Good put herself in harm’s way, which was the initial avoidable situation, these docs reflect the acknowledgment that behind the scenes that these operations are inherently dangerous, and understood to be so by those in charge. I think we can agree that if one crosses the street at the wrong time and gets hit by a car, while the driver is still obligated to stop and give the pedestrian leeway, the pedestrian took a dangerous action which could result in their death, no matter what rights they might have had in that dangerous situation. Ms. Good took an inherently dangerous action, and the officer being right or wrong is judgment after her death is a second order consideration. Her actions were lethally irresponsible, as are those of many other protesters. They do not know why ICE is going after someone nor that person’s potentially dangerous background, yet they persist in their righteous indignation. Bad things are sure to happen under those circumstances and Ms. Good found out the hard way. Yes, the officer should have to answer to his decisions and actions, but when federal law enforcement has a job to do, and citizens antagonize them and prevent them from doing said job, one that both Obama and Clinton also ordered during their time as President (in Obama’s case, to the tune of 3 MILLION people), well then, those engaging in putting themselves in those situations should know that there are lethal consequences which they could have avoided.
