In hindsight, I am sure everyone one of us will know what we would have done in these situations. In the moment, we are operating blind. Some will stay home, others will be even more motivated to stand up for their rights. If people act as if their rights are already gone, well, then they are gone, aren't they? Thanks, Ken.

The FBI should investigate some serious antifa leaders like General Eisenhower and General Patton. They weren't shy about using violence to attain their anti-fascist goals. Another big antifa ringleader was a British guy named Winston Churchill.

More intimidation, provocation, and threats with no evidence of law-breaking. The agents are not on a legitimate fact-finding mission in pursuit of threats to Americans. They’re there to scare him into submission by showing how much they already know about him. Sadly I’m afraid that we can expect much more of this. These agents aren’t fools. They should be ashamed of taking part in this charade. Unfortunately they probably think if they don’t do it someone else with less moral fiber will.

It seems that the goal of the Trump administration is to create enough crises to call martial law on the entire US, which can also means postponing elections indefinitely once his term is up. I really wouldn't be surprised at this point.

When will the 'people' turn against Facism?

The people in the USA have never had war on their territory like other Sovereign countries.

Stand up USA for all the deaths you have caused throughout the world.

Stop watching your movies and 'stand up' for the world otherwise you are cowards.

Thinking about taking to the streets (or Facebook) to protest Trump's up and coming illegal land war on Venezuela? This administration wants you to think again, unless you want to be catalogued in Peter Theil's surveillance system and get a knock at your door a few weeks later. The Bush era "free speech zones" that corralled protestors into cordoned off areas far from offices and parks, and the media's unwillingness to cover them at scale will seem like a golden bygone era of 1st Amendment primacy by comparison.

If you have a problem with Trump toppling an oil-rich country using military force, "justified" by false pretenses* and after multiple administrations have crippled it in a long economic war** well then maybe you're a "NVE" "anti-capitalist" "anti-American" "antisemite" member of "Antifa" non-worshipper of St. Charlie Kirk - and you should know that those things are ALL against "the law" now. Hey, you were warned.

* - I doubt Hegseth will bother going before the UN with Colin Powell's little vial to say it's Venezuelan cocaine, although cocaine might actually have been what was in it back then.

** - Someone in Trump's administration will surely say "it was worth it" just like Albright did about all the dead Iraqi children killed by sanctions.

The Chilling Effect on speech is one of the main purposes of the FBI visits. I don't think those agents believe that they are going to find any organization. The point is to intimidate Americans into shutting up.

Over/under for how many years and how many more of these social media and crowd surveillance-based visits reported by Americans under Trump before Matt Taibbi at Racket starts reporting about the phenomenon. Based on the fact that just the other day he issued a frantic piece on how (minority) FEMA workers were cautioned to (or told if they felt unsafe they could) avoid homes with Trump and other rightwing political signs under Biden, I think it could be about 3 years, if ever.

Like the Gaza genocide and Israel's role in the trampling of American First Amendment free speech I'm sure Matt will simply say that Trump's gestapo demanding papers and intimidating peaceful attendees at rallies due to facial recognition, social media and other technology is "someone else's beat." He's got a big audience of MAGA faithful and arch-Zionists to keep happy. And maybe he's hoping that Ellison's son buys ABC next and gives him full editorial control (or Jimmy Kimmel's time slot).
