What's happened to the US Constitution? Congress, you remember them? They are the ones supposed to make a Declaration" of war? What about the War Powers Act? What about Trump saying he wanted peace? Where's that America first stuff, I heard about?

We are living in a world so utterly controlled by the depraved, including the legacy media, that we are marching towards that cliff like blinded lemmings, who tbh, has never come close to the levels of stupid that our species is capable of.

Congress has done a fine job making itself irrelevant. Biden also bypassed them to send more weapons to Israel and to bomb Yemen. Unless I missed it, nobody made a peep.

The legacy media have become worse than useless. I cancelled my subscriptions to every major US newspaper, but ironically, I still subscribe to Haaretz because they often provide decent analyses. Thank goodness for independent journalists like Ken.

I look forward to reading how the Pentagon plans to avoid a forever war if it topples the current Iranian government.

DAWN has urged the ICC prosecutor to investigate and prosecute former President Biden, State Secretary Blinken and Defense Secretary Austin for their personal roles in aiding and abetting Israeli war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide in Gaza as part of his ongoing investigation into the situations in Palestine since 2014.

Let’s give them our support. Maybe they can expand their complaint to include this latest US administration.

Ken, can you name the Israeli paper that said these joint exercises were for a potential war with Iran?

This is yet another dreadful step. Trump never thinks through anything, he just gets hostile and aggressive.

Chilling. Unconscionable. Yet, weirdly now, unfortunately predictable. BTW, is it just me or does anyone see a direct line from Reagan to Trump? Thanks Ken for continued reporting.

Reagan and Trump have a lot of parallels for sure! Glad you find the reporting helpful, Gary.

Anyone notice that since we launched the War on Terror after 9/11, we've attacked most countries in the Middle East except the two countries with the most 9/11 terrorists, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, our good buddies in the War on Terror. I would suggest people read Mearsheimer and Walt's the Israel Lobby to understand this absurdity.

To me your story is less about Trump and more about the feckless coverage by the mainstream media. Trump has broken the stalemate of incrementalism but is not exactly a maximalist either. The media, however, hasn’t changed: it either goes to extremes (because of visceral hate toward Trump) or just continues with the status quo.

I think this is just what war looks like today - the “maximalist” ground invasion people expect just isn’t how a country like the U.S. conducts war anymore

I first incorrectly read your comment as "excrementalism." --- Actually that seems pretty spot on for Trump and corporate media. LOL.

Reports indicate that U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on March 15, 2025, to inform him about the strikes. This suggests the U.S. provided Russia with some level of notification or explanation, likely to avoid miscalculation given Russia’s interests in the region and its past interactions with the Houthis. The communication appears to have been handled through diplomatic channels rather than a personal announcement from Trump to Russia. - Grok

Took me a minute but I remember seeing that Rubio knew it was fine

Donald Trump DID NOT write that post. It is way too well-written.
