If Israel believes Tiktok is fueling young people's attitudes on the Gaza/ West Bank/ Lebanon crisis, maybe it should start by preventing IDF soldiers from making Tiktoks of themselves abusing Palestinians, stealing Palestinians' property, making themselves at home in Palestinians' homes, and mocking Palestinians.
Or Israel could prevent its soldiers from simply engaging in these activities in the first place.
Tiktok bought themselves some time thanks in part to Molly Birkenes and Jeff Yass. I can stand on a street corner in my small southern home town in the U.S. and shout anti-American slogans and slurs and people would only consider me annoying. If I shout that the Israeli government is committing a genocide, I would be branded an anti Semite and literally be drug off the street by my local police.
Great article as always! Even though the ban was defeated, the damage was done. The U.S. government has made its stance clear: when faced with dissenting viewpoints, it would rather suppress platforms than engage in open debate. Instead of countering narratives with facts, officials resort to censorship under the guise of 'national security.' That’s far more alarming than China collecting data from users who voluntarily share it. This entire saga exposes a deeper truth—free speech is only tolerated when it aligns with those in power.
Being the latest craze is scapegoating and deporting illegal aliens, why not send the team of Zionist cyber hackers in NYC that are invading our privacy back to their country of origin, Poland?
Leave it to apartheid Israel to be in this story. Congress is so into Israel that it likely means nothing to the rest of those in Congress, except those who are Palestinian and leaning that way.
Did none of these people see the videos that Israeli soldiers filmed of the actual war crimes they were committing in real time? Or the HILARIOUS clips they posted where they try on the underwear belonging to women that they killed and displaced?

Guess Warner's not going to get a cushy job at Palantir with that big mouth of his . . . .
Good.
And let us not forget the November 2023 hysteria about kids born after 9/11 reading Osama Bin Laden on Tik Tok and saying "Wow! Makes you think!"
