I mean in a bigger way than what we saw with Don Lemon. Why? Because if they are successful in branding someone like Carlson as a terrorist, a lot of people on the left will love to see him go down. Sure, a few of us will complain on principle, but someone like Carlson or Fuentes would not have a lot of defenders.
I’m talking about real DOJ investigations into foreign influence and charges brought, shutting down an outfit like theirs. Trump needs the “left wing nutjob” mainstream media as a foil, a boogeyman. He doesn’t want the backlash we saw over Jimmy Kimmel. But he can’t have major influencers on the right speaking (what is actually) the truth about what he’s doing, especially regarding Iran.

Will there be large scale detainments, formal terrorism charges, or just deportations? Do you think the administration intends to expel as many as 200 million Americans? I think of the "Night of the Long Knives" when Hitler had Ernst Rohm murdered along with other leaders of the SA, the Brownshirts, because of the threat to Hitler's power they presented.
