There was a recent TNR article basically saying shove the presidency down Trump's throat. Him and his enablers - bury them in lawsuits, dig up scandals by fair means and foul and publicize them, and make their lives a living hell. https://newrepublic.com/post/190337/trump-second-term-democrats-respond
There are pictures of 3 people worth over $1 trillion at the inauguration in support of an administration worth worth over half a trillion dollars and their fight against the elite to fix the system that made them billionaires.
Yes, we definitely do. The Federal Government has been becoming something out of a 50's b-movie horror flick long before Musk et. al. hit the scene. To redefine the problem as some recent development and thus claim the high ground is cute and revisionist.
Oh Goody! We now have a "Truth Gestapo." Were this not so frightening, it would be hilarious. SNL could have ongoing skits about their follies. Alec Baldwin would, of course, be Trump; Michael Che as Todd B. Hunter; and poor Colin Jost, the terrified leaker. It may just
be that the main value of this godforsaken new administration may be that it makes absolutely perfect satire. Really, really, really dark humor...
Great report Ken! We are only three days in. You are going to be a busy man the next four years. How you pull this stuff off without hiding under beds and sneaking around corners in D.C. continues to amaze me.
Great work. I have a slightly different frame. As is clear in this comment thread, a lot of people support what Trump is doing, a lot of people don't. It seems like there's no problem with debating Trump's very much not-classified orders. He's proud of them. Is there some reason why employees of the government shouldn't tell the public what is happening? I don't understand why it's 'leaking' instead of just public servants telling the public about stuff they do, which doesn't seem bad at all. I mean if someone says 'here's a thing your government is doing' and there's legitimate criticism and the political leaders then listen to that and change it, or explain it, how is that not good leadership? And if they don't listen, or refuse to explain it, how is that not bad leadership?
It feels like there's a frame descending from Woodward and Bernstein that all information coming out of government that didn't come through some office set up specifically to manage public communications is some sort of act of rebellion or dissent. But couldn't one imagine that offices set up to manage public communications should actually facilitate people knowing more about government instead of focusing on bottlenecking it?
Ken, if you see this please, please share this or cover it, we need immediate action from our officials to evacuate 11 U.S. citizen medical workers Israel is effectively holding hostage in Gaza as of this morning.
URGENT ACTION NEEDED! 13 doctors and nurses including 11 U.S. citizens are currently being denied exit from North Gaza at the finish of their Israel-approved two-week medical mission organized through Doctors Against Genocide. The Israeli government is not allowing them to leave, placing them at imminent risk of harm.
My friend, pediatrician Dr. Mohamed Kuziez is among them and I am desperately worried for his safety. Please share this story and this pre-populated email petition to U.S. officials and representatives.
Homeland security leaker for the win with the dark background screenshot.
My god this is bleak.
Good stuff, Klip! Seems like the last gasps of a dying bureaucracy.
I hope so.
“report to him any attempts to undermine Trump’s intent” god damn

The NASA memo hit me hard for emotional reasons. Not even scientific research organizations are spared this.
The HHS one for me.
"Doing the popular thing we're supposed to do is extreme".
I cannot wait for these chickens to roost at this point.
Folks thwarting or resisting, whether high or mid or low level, is kinda the definition of deep state or swamp.

I guess we have different definitions of a swamp.

Are those aliens flying the drone over new jersey taking passengers? I'm pretty much done with this place.
America is getting the country it deserves. All we have to do to stop this is stop cooperating. They only have the power we give them.

We are so cooked
Keep printing their names.

People leaking a memo hardly constitutes war

Just a thought.

FYI These workers have safely returned as of Thursday Jan 30!
Ken should leak Elon's .gov email address.
I'm kidding I'm kidding. Unless?
