Thanks Ken, we should all be concerned when government is trying to make terrorists out of peaceful protestors. Transparency is required, Department of Homeland Security is a threat to all of our freedoms. I want them to investigate source of AIPAC funding, why not all PACs.

And even if the protesters aren’t peaceful or are terrorists, we have plenty of agencies with secrets to deal with all threats foreign and domestic without creating secret boards!

Another banger, Mr. Krassenstein. Hunter’s laptop has proof i actually read these and DHS must release more pics of his massive dong.

Oh, no. This is actually bombshell material. I don't understand why more people aren't extremely worried about this type of encroachment on our brains aka "critical infrastructure."

The amount of federal dollars spent on maintaining “secrets” that are actually meaningless bullshit from decades ago is shocking and deserves way more public scrutiny. The book The Declassification Engine was an eye opener on this.

Ken, the Senate appropriates the agencies, funds can be shut off for malfeasance or nonfeasance. The Departments are still answerable to Congress and dependant upon them at many levels but the backbone of our country is is broken.

Thanks Ken! I've always enjoyed your reporting. It takes courage to make this leap! Congratulations! 🎉

The Secretary doesn’t have the authority to override an enacted law. He is part of the Executive branch... not the Legislative branch
