Good points except the Russians did not run a disinformation campaign in the 2016 election. That was just Three Names thinking that her oppo research was real.

Reports that I have framed pictures of Hunter’s hog are disinformation. Pictures of me with framed pictures of Hunter’s hog are cheap fakes.

Deepfakes are untrue. Cheap fakes are true, but are considered cheap shots by the opposition—nothing fake about them.

It's getting hard to tell if Anything At All is being done in good faith, by anyone from either party here. With Democrats letting AIPAC turn them into their own opposition, in addition to the opposition being put forward by MAGA. It's not solely AIPAC although I'd say it's primarily Israel adjacent concerns stepping in to primary the most progressive Democrats and this was happening long before 10/7. It's just not making sense to me that Biden is this attached to keeping another country's bad leadership in power longer than his own. But I can't come up with another reason.

Yes, can you please cite what you mean by Russian influence campaign in 2016?

I think it’s a reference to their use of Facebook/social media to put out memes and such. The effort was not nearly as advanced as it was made out to be, and is essentially the exact same thing Israel recently found of doing …without, of course, the financial backing that Israel gets to openly contribute to our elect.

The AP report on the Hollywood fundraiser doesn't deny the authenticity of the video, just an alternative explanation. If that were true, why did Obama have to literally lead him all the way off the stage? This is just don't believe your lying eyes BULLSHIT!

More concerning is how something true, but unfavorable is almost impossible to find without a framing by the current administration. If you look at foreign news reports, you can find more information. For example: https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/world/us/cannibal-claims-joe-biden-recounts-wwii-story-of-uncles-disappearance/articleshow/109398703.cms

Here’s another example of how difficult this is… The J6 committee implied Hawley was part of the J6 investigation and that he ran away—making everyone laugh at him, but when McConnell released the tapes, it turned out the J6 committee was complicit in a falsehood—Hawley was the last person to leave the chambers allowing everyone else out first, and the J6 committee new it.

yeah they do this a lot to trump. there have been so many examples i dont keep count anymore. and by no means am i defending the soon-to-be-fascist-in-chief, but i bring it up to further your argument... if both sides are going to engage in lies, then (tip of the hat to Senator Nina Turner) we are left sifting through a bowl of shit or sifting through half a bowl of shit.

Substack is great because there are real journalists with integrity reporting, so you aren’t stuck only with the propaganda machine.

im sure there are plenty of hacks of substack (subhacks, if you will). but Kenny Klips is the best of the best. I need to get some money together to subscribe to Ryan Grim as well.

Thanks! I will check him out!

i for one will surely call them all bullshit.
