This from X/Musk is in keeping with the general rule to never say you are sorry or admit responsibility, for example saying "I misspoke" instead of "I lied". The real whopper is to state that you made a mistake when you most certainly did not. Of course we all know of the common practice of businesses to settle, pay some money that is an insignificant amount for them and insist on it being stated that there is no fault involved. What a crazy game, but glad you got back on.
I've been supportive of your decision to publish the dossier, and I wrote a comment on your original Substack article to support it. I'm confused, probably because I've been unable to read the NYT article. By collusion with Trump campaign, I read on X that all they asked of Elon is that you redact the personal identifying info like SS and address. I hardly think that's collusion, even if they did say they wanted you banned from X (per NYT as you said). To be sure, I do not trust the NYT, and without reading the entire article word for word, I will discount it. If it had been done to Harris, I have no doubt that the reactions by corporate media would have been quite different in their support for you. In fact, it's a counter factual, but the entire scenario would be in an alternate universe.
Elon's reaction is normal, because he's not a journo, and he cared about JD feelings, and the safety of his family. That's not your job to care, as long as it is newsworthy. But a consequence is that everyone may not think that highly of you as a person.
Glenn Greenwald did a supportive show about it (I can't remember if you were on it). but he did say that he would have redacted the identifying info. He said something else, and I agree completely, and that is the corporate media said they were not publishing it due to the possible foreign source, but Glenn believes that it was just not damaging or salacious enough to Vance.
It was interesting, but I couldn't finish it as it was a bit boring.
Elon, you are such a tool! Congrats!

>blink!<
That's all we need to do with this parasite? Point out his gross bullshitting, and he rolls over?
Find something even bigger to call him on; he'll likely pop a vessel and drop dead.
Good for you, Ken. I'm not on X, never was on Twitter, so I won't be there to welcome you back. But I'm sure there will be plenty to make up for that.
Have you considered being less of a "douche about town"? I hope not Ken. Keep up the good work and keep poking people we've heard of in the eye.
You really have to work on that terrible human being thing. Can't have ne'er do wells like you running amok.
Tellin' ya man. You were featured on Drudge. The big time!
It's not Musk's fault ;) His Twitter investors and Trump supporters asked him to do it.

I will never understand why people use that site, regardless of its ownership. Is it really that good of scoop generator?
How about the rest of us, Ken?
Glad it worked out.
Woot!
